Home made plate for cherry picker to hook onto. Bought '98 white panel van with bad engine and transmission. Put the good engine and trans from green van in here and sold it to a Fed-Ex guy for enough money to almost pay for the LS1 stuff in the green van.

Truck engine showing the type oil pan that fits the 'Stro. ALSO, the computer is on the left on a truck, the same as an Astro. The pan and oil pump pickup interchanges with the LS1 and fits into the Astro chassis.

installed engine from inside, (note coil mounting brackets). The engine fit so tightly that the body wouldn't fit back down with the coils in their stock mounts on the valve cover.
